Jonathan Lux (b.1976 USA) lives and works in London, UK. He has had solo shows at Marlbrough Fine Art, London, The University of Maine Museum of Art, Bangor ME, and the Jacksonville Museum of Contemporary Art, among others. Selected group exhibitions include Transition Gallery, London; Galerie Nicholas Hugo, London, Beers Contemporary, London; The Dot Project, London; AMP Gallery, London; Saatchi New Sensations, London, The Royal Academy, London; Proteus Gowanus, Brooklyn NY, Broadway Gallery, NY. Lux holds an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art, London (2014) and a BFA with donors from Jacksonville University, Jacksonville FL (2008). He is the recipient of the Valerie Beston Prize, the Whatley Award, The Community Foundation Individual Artist fellowship Grant. He participated in residencies and the Vermont Studio Center, and was the Artist in residence at the Harrow School for 2015. His works are included in the Victor Benady Collection, The University of Maine Museum of Art, Jacksonville University, The University of North Florida, the Various Private collections.
Jonathan has exhibited with Kristian Day in The Classical (2016), The Diamond Sea (2017) and The Manchester Contemporary (2017).
